Information We Collect

Photo Library Access: Declutr requests access to your photo library to display photos for review. All photo processing happens entirely on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your photos on any external server.

Photo Metadata: The App reads metadata such as file size and creation date to provide storage statistics. This data is processed locally and never leaves your device.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics such as the number of photos reviewed and storage saved to display within the App. This data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData.

Third-Party Services

Apple: The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect data as described in their privacy policy. Photo deletion is handled through Apple's PhotoKit framework, which presents a system confirmation dialog before any photos are permanently removed.

Data Storage and Security

All your data, including session history and photo decisions, is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data.

Your photos are never uploaded to the cloud or any external service by Declutr. Photo analysis and processing happen entirely on-device.

Children's Privacy

Declutr is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
